CAMP PRICING 2008

Pick one week, two, three... why not go all summer? Summer @ The Summit is offering eight, fun-filled weeks of summer academic enrichment and recreation fun that parents can pick and choose schedules that work best with their busy summers. A total summer camp experience offers campers an extraordinary, safe learning evironment, small class sizes, and excellent instructors and staff.

In June... the Springfield area’s only SPANISH MINI-CAMP will be in full tilt during the mornings with campers learning the language, culture, geography, cooking and crafts of Puerto Rico, Panama, Columbia, and Mexico. Each Spanish program week will feature different lessons so that campers attending all four weeks will have various experiences and progress. Campers attending just one or two weeks will enter at their level of fluency and be able to participate and progress during their experience. In the afternoons, two unique academic enrichment classes will stimulate campers followed by recreation fun and games.

July camp... in the mornings, campers choose between a SPORTS MINI-CAMP and a FINE ARTS MINI-CAMP. The afternoons in July will feature different academic enrichment classes designed to inspire and challeng campers. Lots of recreation fun and games will balance out each camp week.

Teens entering grades 7-9 may register as Counselor’s In Training and be assigned to assist instructors in the mini-camps and academic classes. Teambuilding, responsibility, and leadership will be the focus of the CIT program.

EASY REGISTRATION!  Early Bird Registration is underway!  A $75 refundable deposit per child will hold a spot at a reduced rate. Once deposit has been received, Camp Coordinator will call and confirm weeks attending and send invoice with balance due that is not payable until June 1, 2008.  Click on the Early Bird Summer Camp Information link and Early Bird Registration Form to get this great savings for summer camp.

From Karen Sweeney
Head of School:

Once again, I would like to congratulate our extraordinary students who won awards representing The Summit. It is amazing that our Explorer Algebra Team (middle school students) placed third in a high school competition! Great job Sarah, Valerie, A.J., and Lydia. We are also pleased to have one of our fourth graders, Amanda S., win first place in the Springfield Library Center bookmark contest. How exciting to have three of our Summit students honored at Law Day for their winning art drawings. Congratulations Claire M., Quincy S., and Mason T.! I am proud of all of our students and the fantastic teachers that encourage them to succeed.
