This is my 20th year of teaching, and I am excited to make the switch from public to private education and the creativity I will be able to have in my classroom. I have taught all elementary grades in some capacity, but have spent most of my time in 4th grade (six years), and in gifted education (five years at the elementary level and one year at the middle school level). I love to assist in kids’ education. I loved school as a kid, and I still do! It’s important to me for my students to love school. I am a big reader, so love teaching reading and helping kids choose books they will enjoy, but also love teaching math because I think I can really identify with the struggles kids might face in that area. I am excited to partner with my students and their families to make 4th grade a wonderful part of their education and lives!
