Summit Preparatory School of Southwest Missouri
 Admissions

THE SUMMIT seeks to enroll bright, motivated students and families who share the philosophy and mission of the school. We admit students who are academically at grade level or above. The school is not equipped to work with students who have learning disabilities or behavioral problems. The school looks for students of different religions, races, nationalities, and economic backgrounds.

Students will be selected through a process that includes a review of previous school performance, teacher recommendations, admissions testing and a family interview. We will also establish a "play date" for potential students to interact with one another. All students must pass an admissions examination before they are fully matriculated into THE SUMMIT. In addition, it must be evident that the student recognizes and appreciates the high standards of behavior and responsibilities required of a THE SUMMIT student.

THE SUMMIT admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic orign to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and financial aid programs, and athletic and other school administered programs.

The school is located at 922 West Republic Road in Springfield. Contact us for more information.
