August 9-12 from 8:00A.M.-10:00 A.M.; 2:00P.M.-4:00 P.M. – Parent Teacher Conferences. Please schedule an appointment with your child’s teacher; this meeting is required before school begins. Please return all forms to your child’s teacher.

August 27 at 7:30 A.M.- Annual Summit Run event sign-up forms available on the school website.

School pictures are scheduled for September 1, 2011. These photographs will be taken of students wearing their school uniform, for the school yearbook and purchase is optional.

Students who take prescription medication or over the counter medication during the school day need to have a parent deliver the medication and the completed parent request form available for download at this link, before any medication may be dispensed. All medication is administered through the school office.
We will provide hot lunches through Bistro catering service for those who wish to purchase lunch through the school. You will have the options of the weekly hot lunch plan, pizza day only, or milk only. We are awaiting the final pricing for the hot lunches and will notify you by email, prior to the start of the school year. The daily lunch menu for students participating in the hot lunch program will be available on the school website. Students who will not be participating in the hot lunch program may bring a sack lunch from home. All students need to bring a refillable water bottle to school which can be kept in the classroom and available when needed.

Before and after school care is provided for Summit students at an additional cost. Morning Fun Zone begins at 7:30 a.m. and after school Fun Zone begins at 3:30p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Drop-in fees do not require sign up. Sign up for unlimited plans by clicking this link.
Pre-Kindergarten Early Morning and Extended Day Programs
Parents may enroll their pre-kindergarten child in the early morning program that begins at 7:30a.m. and/or the extended pre-kindergarten program the begins at 1:00p.m. and ends at 3:30p.m. If you would like to enroll in these programs, please sign up at this link.
Car line drop off for Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade students begins at 8:15a.m. until 8:30 a.m. Students in the 6th through 12th grade car line may be dropped off beginning at 8:30a.m. until 8:45 a.m. Families with upper and lower school students may drop off both students by 8:30 a.m. Students who are dropped off late will need to have a parent or guardian walk their child into the school building and sign their child in at the front desk. Late students will not be admitted to class without a parent sign-in. The finalized car line map and procedure will be sent by email before school starts.
The Summit Parent Organization (SPO) will be sending a survey to each family to request volunteers. Parent volunteers are the backbone of our school, and we appreciate your participation in the life of the school.
Office item drop off
Please do your best to send all items with your student, before the school day begins.
School office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. When possible, please send an e-mail to the appropriate staff member regarding any messages or information. Please leave a message on the school voicemail if you do not get a live person.
Lost and Found
Lost and found items will be collected during each trimester. Students and parents are welcome to check lost and found at any time. All items not claimed by the end of the trimester will be donated to The Summit’s uniform exchange program or to charity. Please consider labeling all tags of clothing items with your child’s first and last name to help us return items to you.
Hot lunch will be catered by Bistro Catering. There are three options for purchasing hot lunch, which can be found on the hot lunch sign up form located at this link.
