 Explorer Science
Welcome to Explorer Science:
Here's what we've been up to...

Explorers were able to demonstrate their abundant knowledge about waves this week as they prepared for and took their quiz over wave properties and behaviors.  Competitive juices were definitely flowing while teams competed in a review game for the highly coveted prize of two bonus points (to be applied to their quiz grade).  Overall, Explorers did very well on their quizzes, with the top three scores going to Theo, Paige, and Nate.  Congratulations, and thanks to everyone for studying!

  QUESTIONS OF THE WEEK

Students had a chance to create and answer their own quiz questions.

See if you can answer these student-created brainbusters…

1)      Name two ways you use waves on a daily basis.

2)      What is the difference between a longitudinal and transverse wave?

3)      How do scientists predict tsunamis?
