Favorite Foods

Today Kindergarten students answered the question: What is your favorite food? Our class answers ranged from steak to chocolate to macaroni and cheese.  Can you predict what your child’s answer was?  Each student was then tasked with the responsibility of illustrating a depiction of their favorite food.  Next, each student shared their drawing with the class and tried to answer the question: Where does it come from?  Read each response below and see if you can find your child’s response.  Over the next few weeks, we will work on correcting misunderstandings, broadening our knowledge of food and how it gets to us, and take a look into rural communities.

  • My favorite food is tacos!  The ingredients are cheese which comes from milk, beans, and salad which comes from cookers.
