Dress Code

uniforms.jpgStudents wear uniforms at The Summit to create a professional atmosphere at the school.  Students are encouraged to focus on academics instead of apparel. Our uniforms are easy to maintain and easy to replace.

Clothing

Our uniforms consist of khaki or navy blue pants, skirts or shorts and a polo with The Summit logo.   Solid color short or long sleeve uniform polo shirts need to be purchased through Lands’ End with the school logo embroidered on each shirt, jumper, sweater, and all layers that will be worn inside the school building.  All students need to have one red Lands’ End uniform shirt for off campus field experiences.

For information on purchasing from Land’s End, click here. The school’s preferred number when placing orders is 9001-0357-3.

Shoes

Students must wear closed-toed shoes with closed in backs. This is for safety reasons in the event of building evacuation. Tennis shoes, flat shoes, dress shoes, and boots are all acceptable shoes for students.

Appearance

Students must be neat and clean when they come to school.

Jeans Days

Fridays and special events days give students the opportunity to wear clothing other than their uniforms. Every Friday is a Jeans Day, and students may wear their jeans with a Summit logo shirt.

PE Dress

Lower School students do not dress out for PE. Upper school students may dress out for PE as designated by their teachers.

Field Trip Days

Students will need to have a red Land’s End Summit shirt to be worn on all field trips and events when leaving campus.
