REFLEXIVE VERBS
A reflexive verb is used when the subject(s) perform and receive the action.
In the infinitive form, you can always recognize these verbs because they end with se. levantarse – to get up.
Verbs, regular or irregular, are conjugated according to ar, er, or ir patterns.
The se part requires use of reflexive pronouns; similar to direct object and indirect object pronouns. These normally go before the conjugated verb.
(yo) – me = myself me levanto = I get (myself) up
(tú) – te = yourself te levantas = you get (yourself) up
