The Summit Parent Organization runs three major fundraising events each year, The Summit Run, The Gala, and Trivia Night. The money raised at these events goes to support student scholarships and select capital investments. But raising money is only a part of the story. These events are also a chance for the Summit community to come together and have fun.
The Summit Run, held in late August in Chesterfield Village, is a 5K and 1 mile fun run. Even though it is timed by professionals the run is open to all ages and levels. This family friendly event includes pancakes and live entertainment.
The Gala and Auction is held in each year in October. This silent auction, dinner, and live auction is a dress-up event for the adults.
In late winter the Summit Community comes together to show off their big brains. Teams of eight tackle trivia questions to see who wins the grand prize. But don’t worry if trivia isn’t your strength, this event is full of food, fun activities, and plenty of laughs.
