Working in teams of three, first grade students created posters of urban, suburban, and rural communities.  In conjunction with this, we are learning about how to be responsible members of our community.  We discussed how first graders can be good citizens by being honest and trustworthy, following rules and laws, respecting others, learning about the world around us, being responsible for our actions, being a good neighbor, and protecting our environment.
