Navajo

Students have finished learning about the Navajo tribe, who lived in the southwest region.  Key components discussed include wearing deerskin clothing, using wheat to make fry bread, eating sheep meat as the main source of food, living in circular earthen lodges called hogans, and using looms and wool for weaving. Next, we move the Maidu tribe of California.
