Sun Experiments

Introducing the scientific process, students completed several experiments involving light from the sun.  First, we took to the parking lot to check out our shadows.  Working with a partner, students traced their shadows at different times of day using chalk.  We asked questions, made predictions, conducted our experiment, and determined conclusions based on how our shadows changed.  Next week we will follow up with additional experiments involving sunlight and energy.
