First and second graders had a wonderful field trip today to Cox Hospital. A special thank you goes to Maddie’s dad for arranging our trip. After receiving our very own future doctor badges, we took a tour of Pediatric Village. From there, we went to the lab where we used microscopes just like the scientists who work there. We were fascinated by the machines! Then, Dr. Gilliland led us on a tour of radiology. Our trip was complete with ice cream and goody bags to go.
