Each Thursday, first grade students will have the option of participating in the 4th and 5th grade Snack Shop. Items will range in price from $0.40 to $0.75, with many $0.50 and $0.60 options, and all items will be a healthy choice. Examples of choices include canned fruit, graham crackers, bottled of water, cheddar cheese crackers, peanut butter crackers, GoGurt, apple juice, cheese sticks, cheddar cheese slices, pudding, and Goldfish. This is a wonderful opportunity for first grade students to practice working with money, improving recognition, counting, and adding skills. Proceeds will be donated to various charitable organizations as selected by the 4th and 5th grade students.
