Digraph ph

This week our spelling and word work pattern is digraph ph.  Students have learned that when p and h are together in a digraph they make the /f/ sound.  Many of the words students selected are not only challenging to read and spell, but also challenging because of their meaning.  For practice this week, we will write the missing digraph, sort by the location of the digraph (beginning, middle, or end), search for ph words in our reading, practice handwriting, and write sentences with ph words.
