Bio Poems

First grade students are working on the final phase of the writing process as they publish their famous American bio poems.  Prior to spring break, and as a culminating activity of our David Adler author study, students selected a famous American for their poem.  After researching and applying some creative thinking, students are typing their poems and adding images.  Bio poems are one of the many writing categories in which students are eligible to enter for LAD fair.  With the submission deadline just around the corner, we will make final selections and revisions of previous works throughout the week.
