Boot and Shoe Drive to Benefit Weller Elementary
High School students are collecting new and gently used boots and shoes for the students at Weller Elementary school. Collection bins will be located in the lobby starting on Friday, November 20th. Boots and shoes will be delivered to Weller Elementary on December 10th.
Shoes are needed in child size 12 through adult size 7. The best shoes to donate are:

children’s boots both fashion and snow

play/school shoes
-
tennis shoes.
Weller Elementary is a Title I school with about 92% of the students receiving free or reduced lunch. Our school is located in the northeast corner of Springfield off of Glenstone and Division. The Cents of Pride store educates students about basic financial principles and encourages good behavior and attendance. Each child has the opportunity to earn “Pride Bucks” for good behavior and attendance each week. Students spend these bucks at the Cents of Pride store where items such as clothing, shoes, school supplies, and hygiene products can be bought.
