Book Fair

Please see the following information from Jill Nieman, Book Fair Coordinator.

The Fall Book Fair will be open Dec 3rd-10th. The theme this year is “Monsters” (more cute and funny and not so scary).  Teachers will be making their wish list on Dec 2nd and students will be making their list on Dec 3rd.  As usual, the fair will be open in the mornings from 8-9 am and after school from 3:15-5:00 pm.  It will close at 9 am on Dec 10th and then be packed up.

With the money raised with this fundraiser last year, the school was able to purchase the following items, and we still have over $2700 that will be spent soon.

  • all of the teachers’ wish list books from both book fairs last year
  • a mobile book organizer
  • 2 classroom sets of calculators
  • classroom treasure chest prizes
  • National Geographic Globe
  • 20 Whispies (a tool for amplifying voices to self check, self correct, and self assess)
  • 18 clipboards
  • MimioView (a document camera for interactive teaching)
