The Summit High School Service Learning Group is actively involved in Walk MS (multiple sclerosis) this year. The Buy Out Day on Friday 4/13 will benefit the fundraising efforts of this group for their Walk MS Team. Walk MS is onSaturday, April 14th. Friday, April 27: $2 Uniform Buy Out – Theme: Golf Attire
In honor of The Summit’s Mini Golf Tournament on Saturday, April 28th we are having a $2 uniform buy out day on Friday 4/27. Don’t forget to register your mini-golf team of four (or as individuals) by April 13th so you can get a super cool mini golf shirt designed by Mrs. Bradley!
Wednesday, May 9: $2 Uniform Buy Out – Theme: College Tshirts
Our seniors graduate on Friday, May 11th! We’re honoring them with this $2 uniform buy out day. Everyone is encouraged to wear a college/university shirt/sweatshirt/etc of their favorite college/university, their parents’ alma mater, or their dream school! We’re so proud of our graduates! (Mark your calendars to join us in celebrating Ning & Alan on Friday, May 11th at the Springfield Art Museum at 6:00 p.m. The ceremony is appropriate for all our Summit scholars and we’d love to have our entire community there to celebrate our graduates and our eighth graders as well!)
Thursday, May 17: Free Dress Day – Last Day of School, aka FIELD DAY!
We are still finalizing details on our 2018 Field Day Extravaganza. We will be sending out information soon about location, what to wear, and what to bring that day. This isn’t a “typical” school day… it’ll be a day full of fun and celebration! This is also only a half day, The Summit will release students at 11:30 a.m. and there will be no after school fun zone. (Parents/grandparents are welcome to stay with us all morning and cheer on our Field Day activities!)
