The Summit Girl Scouts are launching a Campus Beautification Effort just in time for our Summit Community Open House coming up on October 3, and we need YOUR help! From 9-11a THIS Friday (September 21), the Girls Scouts will begin round one of the clean-up by attacking the front of the campus, and we need families to come armed with their gardening gloves, weeding tools, weed-wackers, shovels, shrub trimmers loppers, and wheelbarrows.
A second round of gardening will take place on Sunday, September 30 from 2-4p and will focus on the rock beds on the back side of the campus.
We are seeking donations of gravel and cedar mulch to help keep weeds at bay and to provide an nice finishing touch to the beds in time for the Open House.
Come help demonstrate to the rest of Springfield how much our families care about the new school and show that we take tremendous pride in it’s success by being a part of this effort! Thank you!
