Visit from the firefighters!

Firefighters from the Springfield Fire Academy visited The Summit today and we were so excited to spend time learning with them! First grade students learned about fire hazards in the home, how to get out of the house safely, and the importance of having an escape plan and designated meeting area. We also learned about smoke detectors and where they should be located in our homes.
