First grade students worked with partners throughout the week to create their own clocks! As we continue to learn about time, we review the minute hand, hour hand, and five minute intervals on the clock. First graders will continue working on telling time to the hour, half hour, quarter hour, and minute. They will also be exploring concepts of elapsed time! We will continue to practice telling time through hands-on activities as well as IXL, ABCYa, and small group games and puzzles!
