First Week of First Grade!

What a wonderful first week of school we have had! The first days of school are filled with so many new experiences for students: getting back into “school mode” after such a long time away, getting comfortable with their new classroom, and most importantly, finally seeing their friends again! It has been a ton of fun having everyone back at school. We spent a lot of time this week getting comfortable with our classmates and exploring the classroom. It’s only been a week, but we have already had lots of fun! Our first two days were busy getting to know our first grade processes and procedures. Once we got situated, we got a chance to dig in to some of the fun parts of first grade! We’ve explored the STEM bins, practiced problem solving skills, got started learning some sight words, connected to their new computers and spent lots of time outside!

Looking forward to an excellent year!
