Goods and Services

This week, we began learning about goods and services in our community. A good is an object that you buy to use or keep. A service is a job that someone else does for you. Students completed a “write the room” activity where they determined which people and places from our community provide us with goods and services. Some examples of services in our community include police officers, hair stylists, mail carriers, cashiers, and teachers. Goods include items such as food, shampoo, toys, and furniture.
