Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

This week we are learning about why it is important to reduce, reuse and recycle. We practiced reusing something by creating something new out of a toilet paper roll. Students got creative and made items they could use, either for play or around the house.

Here’s what everyone created:

Maren – barrette
Violet – rainbow flower
Emery – sling shot
Emerson – toy boat
Ryker – bottle for Build-a-Bear
Coraline – noisemaker
Diesel – toy
Allison – pencil holder
Miles – piggy bank
Brielle – doll
Izzy – telescope
Elise – rainbow bracelet
