Show and Tell

First grade students participated in show and tell this week! This activity was a reward that students earned for great behavior, but it was also a great learning opportunity at the same time. Show and tell gives students the opportunity to practice presentational speaking, active listening and oral language skills. Students brought an item to share from home, gave a description of it, and then answered questions from the audience.  Students had so much fun sharing with their classmates and learning about their peer’s special items!
