Recess: Creative Play!

Our recess time not only gives students a chance for a brain break and time to socialize with peers, it also gives them an opportunity to flex their creativity muscle! Students create all kinds of interesting games and activities to play with their peers. Scroll down to see how a few students spend their recess time!

Some students have been enjoying practicing cheerleading with their classmates. Broken branches with leaves work perfectly as pom poms!

Tree climbing is a popular pastime with first graders at The Summit. There are some great climbers in our class!
