Telling Time

First grade students have been spending the recent weeks learning to read time on an analog clock. We have focused mostly on the parts of the clock, and telling time to the hour and half hour. This week, students worked independently to create their own clocks with movable hands, along with hour and 5-minute marks. First graders will continue working on telling time to the hour, half hour, quarter hour, and minute.
