April is National Poetry Month. Students of all ages at The Summit celebrated Poem in Your Pocket Day today! In first grade, we started our day by reading and listening to a variety of poems. We were surprised by some visitors from fourth grade who did an amazing job sharing their selected poems with us! First grade students selected poems to keep in their own pockets, and then shared them throughout the day. We really enjoyed sharing the joy of poetry with our friends!
