Math Skills Review

First grade is beginning to settle into our routine, and with that comes new learning! But first, we are reviewing Kindergarten math skills to make sure skills learned in Kindergarten are fresh and ready in students’ brains so that we can begin building on those skills. Today we practiced counting to 100 by 1’s and by 5’s. One of our favorite activities for practicing counting is the Workout and Count song by Jack Hartmann.
