Native American Tribes – with 5th Grade!

In second trimester, first graders are beginning their unit on Native American culture. What better way to kick off this unit than by learning from other Summit students!

This morning, the first and fifth graders met in the backyard. Fifth graders practiced the presentations they will share with their families at their first trimester celebration tomorrow. First graders got to soak in some knowledge about Native Americans and practice their listening skills. Some first graders even got to learn from their siblings! It’s always so much fun spending time with fellow Ravens. Ask your child which tribes they learned about!
