First graders are about to begin a trimester-long unit on Native American culture. What better way to kick it off than by learning from some fellow Summit students! Fifth grade had their trimester celebration today and were kind enough to invite us to join! First graders got to walk around to visit each student and learn about some Native American tribes. Their research was amazing and well-prepared. The first graders were excellent audience members and we loved learning from our older peers!
