First Grade Music

Recently, first graders have been doing a great job learning to sing two Mexican folk songs in Spanish, “Naranja dulce” and “Arroz con leche.” They have also been having a great time doing rhythm ensembles, performing the rhythms with silly animal or car sounds. They have continued to review the landmark notes, treble G, middle C, and bass F, as well as using those notes to read neighboring notes.
