A Special Entry

As all of you know, our second graders did an amazing job in the L.A.D. Fair competition. They worked very hard, and all the hard work was worth it. We have another reason to celebrate! Our very own Mayukha Vedula received a special honor. Her acrostic poem entitled Rainbow was chosen from among all first place poetry winners across the range of categories to be presented as part of the Dance-a-Poem program at the LAD Language Arts Fair Saturday, April 30 at 9:30 a.m. at Willard High School. This is a very special accomplishment! We celebrate her and look forward to all her writing projects to come.
