Today, our classroom floated right into the magic of the Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day Parade! We kicked things off with <\/span>Balloons Over Broadway<\/span><\/i>, the delightful story of Tony Sarg\u2014the playful inventor behind those towering parade balloons. The kids were instantly hooked by the way Tony mixed art, imagination, and a whole lot of tinkering to bring his characters to life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Inspired by his creativity, our students became designers themselves. The room buzzed with sketches, bold colors, and big ideas as everyone created their own mini \u201cparade balloon\u201d designs. And because November fun is never complete without a turkey twist, we rolled right into our <\/span>\u201cDisguise a Turkey\u201d<\/b> challenge. With Thanksgiving approaching, these turkeys needed a disguise\u2014and fast! <\/span><\/p>\n

It was a joyful blend of storytelling, STEM thinking, and pure creative play, filled with laughter and excitement. Whether it\u2019s dreaming up a parade balloon or keeping a turkey out of trouble, our students are proving once again that they\u2019re full of fantastic ideas\u2026and not afraid to let them soar.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
