Students have been working hard to learn our classroom <strong>routines, expectations, and rules<\/strong>, and each day we are becoming a stronger classroom community. \ud83d\udc9a<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This week, we also <strong>finished our Classroom Show &amp; Tells!<\/strong> This was such a fun way to continue getting to know one another. Students were incredibly engaged and eager to share special things about themselves with their classmates. I loved watching them listen, ask questions, and make connections with one another!<\/p>\n<h3>\u270f\ufe0f Spelling Begins Next Week!<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This coming <strong>Monday, students will bring home their first spelling word list<\/strong>, so please be on the lookout for it!<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Next week will be a <strong>practice week for our spelling test routine<\/strong>. Our goal is to help students learn what to expect, become comfortable with the process, and get into a good rhythm before spelling tests become part of our regular routine.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for helping us have such a wonderful first full week. I am excited to continue learning, growing, and adventuring together! \ud83c\udfd5\ufe0f\ud83d\udcda\u2728<\/p>\n<h3>\ud83d\udcbb A Note About Laptops<\/h3>\n<p>Regarding laptops, I ask that students leave their laptop at school during the week, with the option to bring them home over the weekend. Please complete this\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSchNsYuz6iqTKops_a3uu9YNkjcyP5wA4W0wnt5cq4wW4RkDQ\/viewform?usp=preview\">form<\/a> to let me know if you&#8217;d like your student to bring their laptop home on Fridays or leave it at school.
