Dots and Worms

On Friday we had a very fun day! For our art lesson we read the book by Peter H. Reynolds called Dot. The students then created their dots and signed their beautiful artwork! Later in the day we did a little bit of STEM and had to save Freddy the Worm from all the misadventures he had. Students used team work and problem solving skills to put a life-saver (gummy apple-o) on Freddy (a sour gummy worm), submerge him in a homemade submarine, and create a linked bridge out of one piece of paper! They all did so great and were very successful in every adventure.
