Happy chilly Thursday!
The 3rd graders had a great time being outside for a short while this morning before the temperature dipped too low. Since the playground had a new addition, “Lake Summit”, we decided to make boats and watch them be carried by the current….or not (some got marooned 😕).
The kids have been working SUPER hard on their projects about “Cahokia” and they are excited to share them with you next Friday 2/25 at 3:00.
Did you know that this year, the 22nd day of the 2nd month of the year 2022 falls on a Tuesday? So, 2/22/22 (next Tuesday) has been declared “Twosday!” Third graders will celebrate this awesome day with some learning activities that incorporate the theme of 2s. Students are also welcome to wear something pertaining to TWO– a tutu, two hats, two ponytails, two shirts, two different types of socks/shoes, a jersey or shirt with the number 2 or 22, etc.
It’s been another great week in third grade. The kids have been working so hard and learning so much. They can’t wait to share their learning progress with you at “Student Led Conferences” on March 4th. Please make sure to sign-up for a time if you have not already.
Thank you for sharing your awesome kid with me!
