Happy “Two’s Day”

Happy “Two’s Day”. We had fun reading two books centered around two, to, and too and writing list poems about 2 things that go together.
The students are working hard on their Famous Missourian Essays and practicing presentation skills in order to share their “Cahokia” projects with you. Remember that our 2nd trimester celebration is this Friday, at 3:00 in the classroom.
Additionally, today we began learning about the Osage tribe and the effects of European colonization and exploration on the native peoples of Missouri. From here we will move into the Louisiana Purchase, the Missouri Compromise and Lewis and Clark.

Please make sure if you have not already, to sign up for a student-led conference time.

Best,

Scarlett Weis
