Agenda 1/23 – 1/27

Here’s the plan for the upcoming week!

Social studies: students will finish their brochure projects this week. They have made great progress already! Following this project we will move on to famous Missourians.

Math: after their math exam over area on Monday, we will begin the next unit on perimeter and shapes.

Writing: students enjoyed writing various poetry pieces this week! Coming up they will learn how to write a diamante poem (both antonym and synonym versions) and a cinquain poem.

Spelling: the spelling words are sight words, -or sound, and academic vocabulary.

Reading: we will start reading the book Horrible Harry Moves Up to Third Grade as a class and complete reading comprehension questions about it.

Have a great weekend!
