Post Snow Day Polygons

Students are catching up on what they missed yesterday and delving into polygons! So far they are practicing identifying between triangles all the way up to decagons. Todays lesson focused on what shapes have in common and how they are different. Students found differences and similarities in side lengths and angles. There’s a fun game on google classroom to help them practice the attributes of shapes and qualify them as polygons! This math unit will continue to focus on shapes and finding the perimeter later on. They are amazing mathematicians!
