Outdoor Education

This week in Outdoor Ed. students were introduced to a new tool – the magnify lens! Students have been practicing observations using their senses, and now have built on those skills by using a magnify lens to find even more details about the natural world they observe. Students participated in a fall scavenger hunt where they located various seasonal plants, wildlife, and environmental features in the Big Backyard. They used their magnify lens to look closely and notice details they hadn’t before!
