Up in the Air: C’s Version

We’ve observed and discussed clouds when learning about weather last month, but brought them back into the conversation this week to emphasize things that start with C! Students painted part of a piece of paper, and then folded it in half to transfer and reveal a unique painting of the sky.

Today we talked about caterpillars and how they eventually turn into beautiful butterflies. We used nature to help us with our next creation. Students used sticks for the butterfly body and pressed painted leaves onto their paper to create the wings. It was messy, but so fun.

These masterpieces will be on display for you to enjoy at our Trimester Celebration in a few weeks!
