Today our Early Learners had the opportunity to meet a Dentist and a Hygienist! Mr. and Mrs. Sletto, parents from our yellow room make great partners at work and at home! Dr. Sletto is a local dentist and his wife Mrs. Sletto is his hygienist. They visited our classroom this morning and gave our students and excellent lesson on the importance of dental care!
Our students had the opportunity to practice brushing and flossing teeth using the special display they brought.
You will find a special gift bag that includes a new toothbrush, toothpaste, and mouthwash! There’s also a coloring book in their Friday Folder from our visitors.
Thank you, Dr. and Mrs. Sletto for visiting us today and teaching our students so much about the importance of dental hygiene. Dentists are very important community helpers!
