Monday, Sept. 19th in Early Learners

Our day was filled with community helper news, changing jobs for the week, counting to 22, hearing all about our new Star Of The Week, letter Ee activities and Specials classes!  Music, Art and Spanish classes made our morning fly by!

In Art, Mrs. Dalton taught our Early Learners the word ‘resist’.  After explaining how that word is used in creating art, our students went to work! Each student was given white paper, a white crayon, and watercolor paints.  They drew a picture with the white crayon!  This took a lot of imagination and trust in the process.  When finished drawing, the students painted over their drawing with watercolor paint and to their surprise their drawing appeared! Paint resistant art in Early Learners!

Each week Mrs. Dalton teaches us new and exciting techniques in art.
