Gardening with Early Learners!

We had the best day Friday, April 28th!  The weather was just right to get outside and help clean up our school backyard.  It’s springtime, so it was time to clear out weeds and dead plants to make room for the beautiful flowers that are native to Missouri. Thank you to all the parents and grandparents that were able to come and help out.  We appreciate all the hard work you did!  We couldn’t do without your help and support!

Ms. Dana Thomas led this project.  She has worked tirelessly to create a variety of gardens all around our Summit property.  After giving directions, we got right to work!  Our students loved helping!  They pulled weeds in the back of the school and in the front!  They love to help!
