Geometry – Constructions and transformations have been the focus for Geometry. Students will use these concepts as evidence in their first proofs to wrap up our unit. Finally, students will complete a short project utilizing constructions and transformations to create a design and write instructions for others to recreate it.

Data Science – Data Students took a step back from coding in Python in order to interact with CODAP. Students looked at Pew data gathered from a phone survey in 2019 in spreadsheet form and developed a variety of questions that the data could help answer, especially when looking across the questions asked. The data was imported into CODAP, and students created graphs to help visualize the answers to their questions. This week we also wrapped up the Dear Data Postcards with students creating their postcards to display their collected data.
