Wilderness Skills

In the Wilderness Skills elective, students have been working through a combustion unit. Throughout the unit, students have learned about the ‘fire triangle’, parameters to choosing a fire location, different fuel sources and heat types, and various log arrangements. The unit accumulated in the students building, setting, and extinguishing their own fire. Which they also used to make s’mores!
