Social Studies Update

Students in World History II completed their first exam on Monday, demonstrating their knowledge and understanding of key geographic locations, important people and events, and ideas around power and leadership, as well as the connections between continents and religions in the centuries prior to the Enlightenment. We began our next unit covering Asia in the late traditional era on Wednesday, and we had a great discussion about the similarities and differences between East and West.

In Modern History, presentations for first projects are completed, and students are beginning their second round of research. They continue to come up with creative project ideas, and they’re tasked with demonstrating the importance of their chosen topic throughout their presentation.
