Solid Figures

Students have been learning to identify and describe 3d Shapes (Solid Figures) since reviewing 2d Shapes a few weeks ago.  Our study has included the figures: cube, sphere, cone, cylinder, pyramid, and rectangular prism.  We can count the faces and have identified many real-life examples.  Annie and Moby helped us deepen our understanding through a BrainPop Jr. video.  We have also attempted forming the solid figures using play-doh.  Tomorrow we will enjoy a game of 2D and 3D shape Bingo to wrap up our study!
